Beginning as three pound nugget of genuine Turquoise, a lot of skill, imagination, and ingenuity went into creating this almost one and a half pound sculpture. The artist demonstrates a true understanding of the human form in this impressive carving.
The Turquoise appears to be some old Cananea Turquoise, but we cannot be certain of this. Full of traditional southwestern Native American imagery, this piece measures 4-1/4" wide and 8-1/2" tall.
